The difference
Four things we do differently — and what each one changes on the plate.
Freeze-dried is concentrated — 1 tablespoon of fresh becomes 1 teaspoon. Same flavor, less of it.
Dried mushrooms have a much stronger savory umami punch than fresh mushrooms, and the soaking liquid becomes a rich broth. One ingredient, two uses.
Typical dried herbs are dried hard, and past a certain point that heat cooks off the oils carrying the flavor. Our herbs are slightly dried at a low temperature, so the flavor, color and aroma stay in the leaves.
Ground pepper starts fading the day it’s crushed. Our chiles stay whole, flavor sealed in until you’re ready to use them.
Small moves, big difference
The difference between good and memorable is usually one ingredient, added at the right moment. Let us share with you four types of ingredients and what they do.

Ha, no. There is nothing funny in the jars. The name is about bold, vivid flavor, not anything else — totally family-friendly.
ShakerZ are freeze-dried — shelf-stable and happy in your spice drawer. Herb BlastZ are slightly dried, holding on to more of that just-picked freshness, so they live in the fridge. Both lines include single herbs and blends.
Add them straight to whatever is cooking, or rehydrate with a splash of water for salsas and dressings. A little goes a long way — about 1 tablespoon of Herb BlastZ equals roughly 2 tablespoons of fresh.
ShakerZ, ShroomZ and PepperZ are shelf-stable — keep them somewhere cool and dry. Herb BlastZ are the exception: those live in the fridge.
